Documentary photography workshop
Staring from 1st May, 2021 for 6 weekends
Deepti Asthana is conducting a limited capacity on-line documentary photography workshop for aspiring and mid-career photographers. The workshop is designed to help photographers to find their own voice and guide them to pursue documentary projects which align with their interests. Deepti would conduct in-depth individual as well as group sessions to review the portfolio, help students on their on-going projects along with one small assignment; with-in the consideration of covid safety guidelines.
The workshop would end with group session to enhance the important skills of photo editing, pitching projects to the editors and grant writing.
Applicant must have started/worked on at least one project which they would like to discuss during the workshop.
Dates: Starting from 1st of May, 2021 for 6 weekends.
Fees 12,000/- INR per participant for Indian citizen and other South Asian applicants.

Scholarship guidelines: There would be 50% fee waiver available for one photography student on the basis of financial limitations and visual proficiency. Please add 'scholarship' in the title of email providing the reason of applying for fee-waiver with-in 100 words. Also, attach your portfolio of 10 photos, longest edge 1500 pixels.
